The campsite is primitive but suitable. Right by Leigh creek that was full and running loudly so all noise was covered -- we ran our generator all night and it couldnt be heard 20 feet away. One challenge was backing the trailer into one of the very few RV sites -- all are back-in. We had to back up our 26ft trailer from the entrance to our site, almost 50 yards, and the road was narrow with thick underbrush on both sides. That took an hour. The other issue was that the directions given by Recreation.gov were incorrect, telling us to take WY 436 off of US 16 -- which we did and spent hours trying to find the campground. Locals were no help. The correct WY highway was 435, off of highway 16. Because of the wrong highway designation the directions were very confusing. Also, the sign for the campground id NOT on highway 16, it is about a mile down WY 435, which also made finding the campsite difficult. Otherwise the campground is a great place for some privacy, and camp host was nice and helpful.

What a beautiful site on Leah Creek surrounded by the Big Horn mountains! Camp Host “Buck” was very helpful. Facilities were very clean. Loved our site! We will come back again very soon. If reserving site 10 be sure to heed the instructions on getting to the site.

Great campground, beautiful location. I like that it is small and cannot accommodate the big RVs. It feels away from it all yet is conveniently close to Route 16 and Ten Sleep. Buck the host extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Great campground. Each camp site is very secluded. We would like to return someday soon.

Loved this campground, loved it's location in Ten Sleep Canyon on old Route 16. Very quiet, on the river, close to the fish hatchery which is a cool place to visit. We walked up the road a ways, took some of the rock climbers' trails to the base of the cliffs. Would love to come back and explore the area more from here.

This was the absolute perfect campground. Lots of space and privacy between sites, and most sites have direct access to the creek. The vault toilet was always super clean and there is a water pump with plenty of fresh potable water. Bighorn was absolutely breathtaking, so much to see and do! There is the most awesome trout hatchery just down from camp that you can tour for free. The host was extremely helpful and friendly.
