Nice view out back window. Warmed the camper during the day. Nice only having neighbors on one side.
Had to leave early--caught COVID.

Beautifully kept campground surrounded by hills, pines, and a beautiful HUGE meadow to the east. Good wildlife viewing (moose and deer) and access to fishing a short drive away. BTW: the pit toilets were very clean!

We love Sotting Bull campground, it’s got a nice layout, and is centrally located to many fun activities in the Big Horns!

The campground is nice and the sites are wooded and spaced apart so at least for us, it felt like we were in the woods alone. The restrooms are clean and new. The only issue we had was that we almost lost our site due to confusion. We cancelled our first night (of a two night stay) on line 48 hours before our stay and although we received a full refund for that night, the host thought we had canceled both nights and opened the site to first come first serve. Thankfully no one else took the site and everything worked out. But be careful.

We enjoyed this campground. Very nice spot with a lot of areas to go on walks. The only problem was a family, who were down from us. They had very small children who cried, screamed all day and night. They also had two dogs that sounded as if they were going to attack when anyone or anything went by. We did not ever see the host, which was odd.
