No firewood for sale. Minimal bathroom cleaning. No cleaning of sites (fire pit, grill, table). We have been spoiled by previous hosts.

Hosts were always available and helpful. Bathrooms were the cleanest and best supplied of any we've EVER seen in forest campgrounds. Many of the campers commented on how they keep coming back to this campground repeatedly. Hosts obviously ensured quiet hours remained quiet, even though campground was full.

The camp hosts were overwhelmed with duties and their supervisor was of no help at all. We felt sorry for them, but still hope to return.

7/24/21 - 100F in Ten Sleep at 2:37pm and 75F at 3:45pm in the campground. I could have stayed much longer but will be back. Nice and clean.

This campsite has some great sites and some no so great sites for use. If you can get the sites with views of the meadow and east Tensleep creek then you will have a great site. All in all Sitting Bull is located close to many recreation sites (stream and lake fishing/kayaking/hiking/biking etc). The camp hosts are very friendly and keep the campground and its amenities very clean. Importantly, this campground is very quite. We will stay here again.

Wonderful stay. Great weather. Exceptionally great camp hosts. Only problem is the noisy generators that were on until 10 PM or later....a nuisance.

I have been visiting the Big Horn Mountains since 1976 for camping and fishing and surprisingly had never stayed at the Sitting Bull campground. I am glad I decided to spend a few days there on my latest visit, and it will be one of my regular stops in the future.
