We love staying at Prune Creek. The temperature is usually cool and it’s very relaxing being by the creek. Love the moose that wander through.

Nice campground. Sites are large so you’re not on top of your neighbor. Surrounded by Prune Creek and one of the branches of the Tongue River that offer willing small brookies to catch. Although my site was close to the highway I didn’t hear much traffic noise.

Prune Creek is accessible via Hwy 14, which connects to US Highway 87 approximately 20 miles to the west.

Site capacity
- Groups over 20 must use designated Day Use facilities for camping.
