Beautiful site. Our trailer (19 ft) barely fit in the space. Bison and bears are all around the campground (we saw both). It was great to be in a secluded spot in Yellowstone which is super crowded everywhere else. The mosquitos were bad but not as terrible as other places in the park (much worse at Fishing Bridge.)

We visit Yellowstone every year and stay in Madison Campground. This was our first time spending a night at Slough. We loved every minute of it. Beautiful views, you're a 5 minute drive from Lamar Valley. Of course the best part is the wildlife right in camp. We had a young black bear walk right through camp and cross the creek. There was a coyote on the dirt road into camp. There was a Bison across the creek from camp. Lastly we had a Wolf cross the ridge across the creek. All in a one night stay. Highly recommend! PS: if you go in the summer bring bug spray, there were a lot of mosquito and flies (That's camping though)

The best campground in Yellowstone. The campground hosts are incredibly helpful and were able to tell us where to go look for animals.
