Gorgeous little campsite we were lucky enough to score! I’ll be back again someday! The most beautiful weather and lots of cover from wind. The river is right there too. Wow. Just wow. Favorite site for sure!

Best location imaginable, for solitude, nature and wildlife. Site #12 was well situated for access to the creek and to the vault toilet.

We loved that we were able to see so many bison in the area on the way in and leaving and one not far from us across the river too. We also had a treat being able to see a pack of wolves go by at sunset on the edge of the woods; and we had a great day hike up Slough Creek trail where we had planned to take buffalo creek and soldier trail back to the campground, but diverted back the way we came, as we had a herd of buffalo inching their way toward us. A beautiful time all around!

It was my dream to spend a night here. spent many hours online trying to get a reservation, which was so worth it. We had campsite #1 and it was beautiful. We had our own paradise right by the river, amazing!!!!

Small, quiet campground. Great hosts. Most sites for very small trailers and/or tents. A few can handle longer trailers.

Best Yellowstone campground by far. I really like site #13 as it's partially in the trees and not exposed like some of the sites at the top of the loop. It's close to 12, but it's a great site.
