Slough Creek Campground offers a stunning location next to a river, providing access to wildlife and beautiful views, with friendly hosts enhancing the experience. Campsites are generally spacious, with some offering shade and privacy, although certain spots may be close together. While the campground is magical some of the sites are better than others for privacy and creek access. Honestly though, one can't go wrong if a quiet night in nature is desired in the front country of YNP.

Incredible spot. Great hosts. Well worth the trouble reserving a spot! Spot 1 is above everyone else. It is next to a turnaround but I will try for it next time again. Plenty of room in the bear locker. Thank you nps and the wonderful hosts.

A very nice, simple campground surrounded by nature. Great location right on the water, with plenty of hiking trails starting right from the campground.

He camped for 1 night in Slough Creek, in site 12. Very roomy, backed up to the creek. We did not use the water pump or the restroom. Did not meet the camp host.

Couldn't ask for a better campground. Nothing beats waking up IN Lamar Valley. And the pit toilets were clean. Very nice, helpful ranger on site. Even had some cell service which I wasn't expecting. Hope to be back.
