Slough Creek is the best location to Lamar Valley. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The only downfall is that there’s not enough sites.

Campsites are generally spacious, with some offering shade and privacy, although certain spots may be close together. Best campsite ever! Site is long - plenty of room for our trailer and truck. Best part of this site is the view! We had bears visit each night just across the creek. Also a bison in the distance. Campground is quiet and had great hosts.

The camp spots were a little bit too close for our liking but overall had a good experience. It’s a lovely area!

Nice location. Be aware, there is lots of animals, particularly bison and bears in the area, which, if you are aware of animal, safety precautions and procedures, makes for a fulfilling outdoor experience.
