What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

Great staff. Nice park. Some of the sites are closer together than we like. We would come back to this park.

A great COE campground! I loved it here! Yom and Rick Watson keep the campground in great shape. We arrived ahead of a storm with a tornado warning. Rick told us where the storm shelter was. I loved the pavilion on Pirate’s Cove peninsula. Such a nice touch. Beach was a pretty good size. The locals are very nice. I love the smell of the pine trees!

My biggest problem with all the Corp paks is that we like to camp up to two weeks at the time and it is a problem getting a site when we want it because of being tied up by weekender campers. When there were non reservable sites available it wasnt so much a problem.

Very quiet peaceful place to camp..park attendants were very pleasant. Weekdays were great...but from Friday night untill Sunday...some people that had a lot of kids [ let me run wild] bath house was a mess..dirt all over floors .pine straw..paper ..showers had paper wrappers and dirt all over the floor...it's NOT the camp hosts fault. They do the best they can...we also smelled Marijuana that came from. Where these people were staying..the wind was blowing from that direction toward us..do we had to smell it... we got a call Thursday from Corp. Of engineers asking if we would be willing to leave a day early so a dead tree beside our lot could be cut down
..we did leave early...yet from chatting with people who came to that lot 2 days after we left...no tree had been taken down. Yet....no clue why....
