What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

I stayed on lot 10 the grill was broke so we could not use it also the bathrooms were not cleaned but once the whole time we were there and the air was not working in them. This park has went down hill it is time to invest some money into this park as you have in others

The campground is great for families and very casual and natural setting. The beach was lots of fun I was in sight 51 and it was wonderful. Do make sure that you bring ant killer because those little ants are very pesky

There was a tree down at the site that prevented us from driving into the site, we had to back in to a drive through site!! Limbs & trees down everywhere in the park. Also the washing machines were locked & unavailable for campers to use, however workers were washing their cloths & locking the door back. We had to go into Ft. Gaines to wash cloths, unexceptable. The park has really gone down since it was closed last year. Needs lots of work! This WAS our favorite park!

Despite some rain we had a wonderful long weekend. However , I do feel like the sites could be cleaned a little better as far as weeds and vines. We did encounter ticks. Also no washer and dryer is awful! Especially when it’s raining!

Beautiful campground. Could not get in our site due to tree limbs hanging too low. Swapped sites with someone. Noticed that some sites could use some of the trees trimmed. I like to start fishing early so I’m not too hip on the gates being locked until 7am. Other than that, we love the place.
