What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

Wish you could do something about the ants. Need a path to the beach between sites 50 and 51 so kids don’t run through campsites to get to the beach.

Check in hosts were awesome helping get me on the best site available. It was a long walk to the bathhouse though.

It's a lovely park. There's even full hook -up sites which is rare at Army Corp campgrounds.
But there is poison ivy so if someone is sensitive, I can't recommend until the problem is resolved.

Our first experience camping at a corps of engineers Park. We love hardridge Creek campground and the host and Park rangers were fantastic. Our trip was complicated by both RV and truck problems and the folks worked with us to extend time to try to get things fixed. We were on the water with a beautiful view and can't recommend enough. Look forward to going back in the near future!

Our Favorite place to camp. Beautiful scenery. Bath-houses are clean. Brent Vedder & Denise Vedder and Rick & Yom are excellent at working the Office and patrolling the campgrounds. We feel safe because of them and the Park Rangers.
Keep a diligent lookout for snakes and alligators because this is their home and we are the visitors. Keep your eyes wide open and you might see chipmunks, squirrels, and Deer and so many of God's beautiful creatures!! Also must mention the variety of birds.
Since our first experience of this campground, no other compares to the relaxation we have here...we are hooked on Hardridge Creek Campground. No other can compare and that's including the beach.
We consider this campground as our home away from home. Fellow campers become friends. Love thy Neighbor is the feel when we are here.
