What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

Campground is covered in ants. They got into our camper after spraying many times. Had to leave early.

Lot #38 is a pull through with nice water views on both sides plus awesome sunrise views. Very shady and private from your neighbors. Fishing right off your fence and close to the boat beach area. A nice place for kids/grands to ride bikes. But be prepared for the ants.

We have camped at many Corp of Eng. sites in so many states... this is now our favorite! This place is awesome, with almost all sites on the water. Highly recommend this beautiful campground. Bathrooms are clean & have AC.! We plan on staying there for Thanksgiving...feel very blessed!

Great campground! Everyone was exceptionally nice. The lake is beautiful. I will definitely go back. With that said, there are LOADS of ants so be prepared to spray your rv, truck and everything you take. We keep a sprayer with us and use as needed inside and out so we don’t take home any unwanted guests.

Great campground, just seems to be less and less upkeep. Our campsite had overgrown grass, almost knee high, grill had not been cleaned out and fire pit was full of cigarette butts and other debris. Ants are awe full and every where, not a few but would cover the whole walkway in areas. This is a favorite place but seems to be unkept and not maintained. Bathroom area was clean and the campground host, a female was awesome and wonderful
