What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

Ants. Be prepared for lots of them on Site 72 in August, September, and November. They came home with us each visit.
Lights. The shower area was not looking gated. There is a switch on the wall, but only the lights in the toilet/sink area worked. It was very unsafe; creepy.
Locks. Take some one with you to the shower. There is only the outdoor lock on the bathroom. No way to feel secure while showering without locking everyone else out. Safety first.
Courtesy. Male attendant at check in challenged my spouse in the use of my Senior Pass card. I made the reservation on that card . It’s one of hundreds of reservations we have made. The attendant’s attitude was not at all helpful nor polite. His attitude should be a reflection of the organization. I hope it is not.

We like Hardridge Creek on Lake Eufaula. It is very pretty here. We have been here twice. The camp hosts are very efficient and. friendly. The bathrooms are clean. The town of Eufaula is fairly close and Fort Gaines, GA is right across the river.

Nice campground although I found some of the site pictures to be dated. The site we were in was Lake View, not lake front. Vines and underbrush blocked the access to the lake. The sit we were in was SUPER close to both our neighbors. We were only there overnight, so we made the best of it. Campground was clean, hosts were very nice.

The camp host was very helpful and polite and they told me about a senior's park pass of which I purchased. The only thing I would have liked to have was wifi internet access.

We had a wonderful time in a wonderful lot (52)! Just at the water’s edge with fishing just outside toe door of our Rv!
We will be going back again.

Booked for one week, and extended to two due to our site being what I considered one of the best. Although we weren't in the FH loop, our site was in Pirates Cove, and had water on two sides and plenty of privacy with no site to our back. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Access to the lake for kayak right at site. Clean bath houses with laundry. The best of the best in USACE campgrounds. Staff was awesome, as usual.

We had a very nice stay at Hardridge Creek. The facilities and camp hosts were great. The only problem, and it is not a big one, is that the trail there could really use some maintenance.

Bathrooms and laundry facilities were OK.
T-Mobile coverage was fair (LTE 2 bars at best).
