What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

Some brush needs a good bit of trimming so water sites can actually see the water. Entire camp needs shaping up. Need trash can by bathhouse door so you can open door with paper towel and not use bare hand on dirty door handle, also a can dedicated to dog poop. This should be on private, didn't intend it for public.

Quiet and peaceful COE campground on Lake Eufala. Our site was on Pirates Cove loop, right on the lake. We had water views from both sides of the site, and thick forest on a third side. We arrived after a rain storm and the site had not been cleaned since the last campers, but it only took a few minutes for us to tidy up. Our loop did not have a bathhouse but is between the 2 other ones, 4 minutes walk so not a big deal. Bathhouse was spotless with hot showers and great water pressure. There are more birds than we can count and a beautiful variety of trees and plants. Phone service is adequate for calls and sending pics but tv antenna could not pick up any OTA stations, and that’s ok. We sat out by the campfire and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Overall a great place!

Walk up sites were no longer available but same day reservations are now accepted. The good waterfront sites that used to be first come first serve are now reserve only, good luck ever getting one of these. Park was a little in need of some grounds work, most unoccupied sites were littered with pine cones and limbs. Overall still a great place to get away from the crowd.

We stayed in the Bays Loop on site #4 in a 39'MH. Check-in was quick and easy with friendly people in the gatehouse. Many of the sites in the Bays Loop have a fairly steep back in driveway. Our site had an obstructed view of the water. AT&T service was sketchy at the site but worked well in other parts of the park. You are allowed to pickup and burn dead wood and there is plenty of it. I would definitely stay here again, just not in the Bays Loop. Utilities worked well, the dump station is easy to access. Did not use the bathhouse or laundry facilities.

Great water side sites. We had site 31, a bulkheaded site with a small beach a short space away. All the water front sites seemed to have great access. Very friendly staff.
