What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

I was in site 64, one of the few with sewer hookup. It was a pull through, shade varied throughout the day. At night, the street light from the bathhouse was very bright. I camped with a group of friends and walking between sites there were alot of leaves hiding bugs, be prepared. Also, tried to invade. This campsite is higher up from the lake, you can get there through the woods but it's steep and again lots of leaves hiding chiggers. Best to walk, ride to the beach area. You can see the lake through the tress but not very good. I was there in mid-May, temps were okay, couple nights it was really cool then it warmed up.

This was our first trip camping in out new camper. It was fantastic. Ppl at the gate were so nice and helpful. Easy getting around the park and finding out spot. The spot was clean and a view of the lake. One they I would advise, take some baby powder/comet or ant spray for the ants. Little tiny ones, they was fast to invade, not biting, just came to hang out with us in ac when it got hot, but not a problem. Its a great place to camp!!

The park looks like a wreck all the tree limbs and trash on the counter sites. There was no air conditioner in the bathrooms. When I got out the shower I didn’t feel like I didn’t even took a shower. My campsite was one of my husband back to RV up. He hit some lambs. They haven’t cut the limbs back from so the RV and campers can get into the sites the place is a mess. They need to get somebody to clean it up. The yard was not mowed the grass up to your knees. It was not a fun four days. I’m not going back to the count place

I was on Lot 30 for 9 days and they knew the limb above my camper had split and just hanging on,,They said something after we had set the camper up not offering to move us to another spot,,Wether got really bad and the limb was swinging and the only thing they said was the would tell the park ranger..Inhave been going there for over 10yrs and this was the 1st bad experience I had,,Ac in the bathrooms wasn't working and they took away washer and dryer,,,,And my stay was June 24 thru Aug 2 and it was in the 90s,,,Gotta do better than this,,And please keep the park open through the winter like Cottonhill,,And I know they can because they have.ty

We have been coming to this park for many years. It is no longer well maintained. The sites do not get cleaned like they used to. There is a lot of over growth on all the sites. The laundry facilities no longer work. The showers need new heads. The men's bathroom door won't close all the way. The bathrooms no longer have ac. We are severely disappointed with our most recent visits
