This location is for anyone who would just like to get away from it all. We stayed on one of the waterfront lots and it was amazingly beautiful and peaceful. The sunsets were gorgeous! Fishing from your lot is a little difficult because of brush limbs etc. that’s in the water, but their is a pier within comfortable walking distance. There are actually two sections to the park. The other section is non waterfront, but just as beautiful because of a small stream that runs through it. The lots are spacious compared to other places we have been. And Tuscaloosa and Birmingham are within driving distance to experience some good foods. Nothing is available close by for out to eat, so take everything you need for a pleasant stay. We will definitely return again!

This is a beautiful park nestled in the hills of Alabama. It is truly off the grid, but once you arrive you will truly appreciate the natural beauty of nature,

Very nice park with nice bathrooms and showers. Beautiful sites, fire pits, and tables. Camp host are very helpful and constantly working. Only drawback was no cell service and no internet even with a booster.

People in the next campsite let their dogs run all over and they were marking our stuff. When my husband asked them to keep the dogs in their site, they were threatening, obviously drinking, physically charged my husband. We felt unsafe and there is no security available, especially without cell coverage. It's unfortunate as it is a pretty site.
