Campground hosts are wonderful ! One of our Favorite places to camp! Will say that the docks and the few campsites with decking are in terrible need of new decking and Repairs! It is soo bad that it is a safety concern, fall hazard!

Had beautiful views of the Alabama River. Had full bathhouse and one laundry room. Went to see Old Cahawba archeological site. They provided bikes for going around their town.

We have camped at this sweet park for many years, though we left early due to inclement weather on this trip Millers Ferry Campground is always a solid pick. Fishing and wildlife observation is a good choice for this area, with a small town close by to meet many needs.
We ate a good meal at Camden Station and enjoyed seeing some the historic homes in that area. we are likely to return when we can.
