The camp sites were clean and the attendances were friendly , one of the nicest camp grounds around , the grass was cut and rest rooms were clean, well taken care of. We were impressed how clean it was compared to some of the other campground around . Will camp there often .

Lots of areas to walk around ( the other side of the bridge has areas also ). Great for kayaks and boaters. Close to town ( camden 15 min ). Two Nice hot showers houses too. Decent cell on verizon. The little hardware in town is a must visit; if you need anything they probably got it. Piggly wiggly is very friendly store with a hot food counter.

Great campground. Pleasant host. Stayed at a site right on the water. Only down side was how far it was from the bathhouses. With the size of the campground, there should really be three bathhouses. Both took anywhere from 4-5 minutes when walking quickly. In the middle of the night when it’s in the 30s, this is not fun. Otherwise, clean showers and I’ll definitely be back.
