What Guests Are Saying
Pickensville Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with a beautiful riverside view, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities like biking. The campground is noted for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, with many guests expressing a desire to return. While some facilities, like certain bathrooms, show signs of age and there are limited full hookups, ongoing improvements are being made to enhance the overall experience.

excellent, however the entrance to the park from hwy 388 could be better marked. Arriving from the west, both we and our camping friends continued across the bridge and had to turn around.

It’s a beautiful campground. Easy to access sites, easy to drive on roads in campground. Large rig friendly.

My husband waited until the last minute to decide to go camping. We have always liked the sewer sites and love being where the water is, but that was not possible. So he told me to book Site 170. He said it did not have a sewer, but it was across from the water. I was hesitant but I booked it.
We ended up loving the spot. It is the best nonsewer site there is. We were away from everyone and we had a full panoramic view all around us. It has extra parking right behind us.

I have never been disappointed at Pickensville Campground. Always kept up, clean restroom, courteous hosts, great views, nature walks, bike riding, and just an all around good getaway.
