What Guests Are Saying
Pickensville Campground offers spacious, well-maintained sites with a beautiful riverside view, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and outdoor activities like biking. The campground is noted for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, with many guests expressing a desire to return. While some facilities, like certain bathrooms, show signs of age and there are limited full hookups, ongoing improvements are being made to enhance the overall experience.

This COE campground is dark . Bring a flashlight. The bath houses were clean . The sites were nice as well. We made a trip to Brookesville Mississippi to the Old Country Bakery. Worth the trip !!!

Beautiful park well maintained. Lots of bike riding and hiking trails. Many sites right on the water with barge and boat traffic. Nice level sites FHU on 26 of the 176 sites all with partial or full shade. One of the nicest COE parks we’ve stayed in.

Always love our trips to Pickensville. One of our favorite destinations. Well maintained. Clean restrooms. Lots of river traffic. Couldn’t have a campfire due to state’s burn ban, but an excellent trip otherwise.

Campground was awesome. Very flat great for riding bikes. It was quiet and peaceful. There were many cabin cruisers and yachts making there way south down the river which was cool to see. Bathrooms were clean and heated so it wasn’t cold inside the bathroom. Plenty of space between sites and many to choose from. Overall a great campground and definitely will be back.

We had a wonderful time. Virgie (camp host) was very helpful when I needed to cancel one site and book another.. They kept us informed regarding the fire restrictions when someone complained about our propane fire which was allowed. The issue was handled quickly. We will return..
