This campground boasts both a campground and day use area with many activities and amenities for families and outdoor enthusiasts. We had the most awesome time there. The weather was perfect. The trees were in full fall color. It was great watching the tugs and barges going by. It was great finding sewer hook ups at some of the sites. We will be back, no doubt about that.

First visit to this location and we were just stopping for one night on our way home from FL. Arrived around 730pm and no camp host to be found and stopped in front of their sites and got no help. NO phone service to call for help so had to search out our spot in the dark in this very large complex park. Next day the host knocked on our camper around noon and asked why we never checked in. We couldn't check in with no one around and said we were leaving so we'd be checking in and out shortly, and still no one around at the gate when we left. Not the best experience outside of the park either. Dangerous area coming in and going out.
