Bay Palms RV Resort

After spending time in this lovely park and reading other guests’ experiences, I can confidently say Bay Palms RV Resort is a great place to stay. The new manager has brought noticeable positive improvements since my last stay and I can strongly say his focus is on maintaining a safe, welcoming, and family and pet-friendly environment.
The staff are consistently kind, helpful, and dedicated, and the manager is very hands-on and attentive to guest needs. The resort is well cared for, and it shows in the overall atmosphere.
It’s a great home base for me when I'm visiting nearby Dauphin Island beaches.
Overall, it's a a place I’d happily return to.

I really appreciate the location of Bay Palms RV Resort. It’s peaceful and quiet, making it a great place for families to walk, ride bikes, and enjoy the playground and basketball/pickleball court.

The on-site gym was a big plus for me — it offers both cardio and strength training equipment, and I used it frequently during our stay.

The pool area is a huge highlight. It is kept clean and well maintained and features built-in jets/sprinklers along the sides, plus smaller ones at the shallow end that younger kids can enjoy. My family and I enjoyed playing in them while in the pool. We’re looking forward to warmer days when our family can visit and enjoy the pool features again and relax on the poolside loungers in the sunshine.

One of my favorite parts of the resort is the bayfront lot across the street. Watching the sunrise and sunset there is beautiful, and it’s also a peaceful spot to cast a line.

Being so close to Dauphin Island is incredibly convenient — we appreciate being able to drive over and enjoy the beaches anytime we wanted.

The bathhouse and pavilion do show their age, but they are functional and conveniently available when needed. We also appreciate the resort having two laundry rooms on-site.

The new manager is outstanding — always prompt, hands-on, and personally ensures any questions or concerns are addressed quickly. He runs the resort and personally handles repairs. He is clearly working hard to make improvements and move the resort forward

Overall, the combination of a beautiful peaceful location, and a caring, hands-on manager makes this resort feel like a home-away-from-home. I can’t wait to see the continued improvements.

We spent Valentine’s day here. We are on a long road trip, moving every couple of days. I’m so glad we ended up here. The owners had a wonderful Valentine’s day buffet. They decorated and invited the whole park. We really enjoyed this fun loving park. Bathrooms were clean and the sites were well maintained. They are dog friendly.

Buyer beware!! Probably the most dilapidated “resort” we’ve ever been at! If you have a thing for rundown, broken or worn out this place is for you!! Don’t be fooled by the pictures. People saying it’s good obviously aren’t expecting much so this place gives you exactly that! Broken dryers, gym equipment, pool heater, “clubhouse” windows, bathhouse steps greet you along with sewer backups & flooded sites after it rains!! This is barely a work camp full timer special only with all the amenities listed either broken or not working! The owners don’t appear to want to invest in improvements!! Unfortunately you pay before you find this all out and then it’s too late!!
