If you’re there for an overnight trip this place is fine. If you were there for a lengthy amount of time this place is so boring! My husband and I hiked down to the waters edge and found the overlook and the paths were not maintained at all! There were a lot of structures that have completely fallen apart. We were very disappointed and I know that we will not go back to this campground.

We enjoyed our visit. The bathrooms were clean. The campground was well kept. The staff was nice and very helpful during check in.
We visited the Houston Historic Jail. That was fun. Will definitely be back again.

This is a very nice campground for adults. IT IS NOT KID FRIENDLY. No playgrounds and the website said paved trails. The only pathways that were paved was in yellowhammer loop, which sucked because I'm disabled in a wheelchair. The beach area was quite a ways away from our loop.

Camping is always great at corinth. Meet lots of other great campers. Sites are large with really nice fire pits. Will be back

Like the previous comment says. It’s not shaded like other sites. Well at least first thing in the morning. That sun hits hard at 9am. But the bathrooms were immaculate. Like you can smell the clean. The host were super friendly. Even took our garbage bag while we were out due to ravens snooping around our site. I didn’t have time to enjoy all the amenities. But the park host worked hard to maintain it and it shows. Seen plenty of deer all over. Only thing I would change is next time I stay I will be closer to the bathroom. Site 38 is at the far end of the loop. But other then that. I loved it.

THE SWIM AREA IS CLOSED IT WILL OPEN MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. Check-out is no later than 12:00pm the day of departure. Check-in is no earlier than 2:00pm the day of arrival. This 2 hour window is necessary to effectively clean and maintain all of the sites each day. Be sure to reserve a site that will accommodate your equipment because the site you reserve is your site, you may not move to another site. Alcohol is not allowed in Recreation Area. Campground has a two tent maximum per single site. Two vehicles for campers only are included in the site fee. There is a $10 fee for additional vehicles and visitors that will be collected at the campground. Entrance office hours are Mon - Thur 12 pm to 4 pm and Friday - Sunday 9 am to 5 pm., . The Day Use Area is open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. After-hours access is available by calling ahead, (205) 300-1513. Office hours vary August to October please call ahead. Day Use closes after Labor Day.To see what our campground has to offer you can tour it Monday - Thursday during office hours. A $10 refundable fee if you are out within 30 minutes.
