Its a great quiet campground very well maintained hosts are great even with the camp ground getting full on the weekends it’s quiet would like to see them go back to opening loops 1&2 To a week or two week camping because it’s hard to get that because the site are taken Thursday thu the weekends are taken and the sites are open the rest of the week also hear they are closing down white oak this fall to replace water lines suggestion replace the lines in the main road and then do it in sections and keep it open all year people do come over and fish all year long and this is the closest to Eufaula if you go to cotton hill there is nothing around it you have to drive half way around the the lake to get to Eufaula not cool with $5.00 a gallon diesel there is nothing in Fort Gains you also have snowbirds coming south and Eufaula is right there I have heard people have spoke with a corp. col. about keeping the campground open and doing the work in phases and he refused. Call or email your Congress or Senate Members if you want to try and keep it open this fall until they get the water lines replaced it makes sense to do it in phases they close 2 of 4 sections down anyway during the wintertime but this is the government they always run over on projects. Also all the rooms in Eufaula are filled due to all the tournaments on the lake on the weekends good luck it’s a very nice campground and 5 miles from Eufaula

The campground itself was okay, sites were spread out far enough away from each other. It was extremely loud at this campground with the boat traffic on the lake. All night long you could hear the boats reaving up their engines as they were leaving the wake. It seems like there would be a quiet time like all other campgrounds, but I guess this one doesn't have one. No respect for the campers that are trying to sleep. We will not be going back to White Oak campground. There are much quieter campgrounds around the area that we will stay at. The scenery was nice, but the noise was too much.

Bathrooms were not kelp clean; hand soap always out. Most of the sites retain lots or water after a rain due to poor upkeep of sites.
