This is our favorite campground. The sites are perfect and close to the water.

The people responsible for cleaning the bathrooms and emptying the trash and restocking the toilet paper did not do it over Presidents’ Day weekend. The front gate house people said that work campers were not responsible for the bathrooms anymore. They said it was contracted out to some other company. So nobody wanted to restock toilet paper, empty trash or clean bathrooms. There was only one washer and dryer available and it was in the furthest loop away from the front gate house.

White Oak Creek is our go-to campground within a day's travel. It's always well-kept and beautiful. The only drawback is weekends during the warmer months with boaters and jet skiers cruising the shoreline (over our fishing lines) and/or speeding up and down the channel. A no wake zone and/or stay-clear sign would be a welcome addition... but I'm not expecting it.

We enjoy many of the COE campgrounds-- and this one was great!! Clean bathrooms and showers, many water lots, and nice walking trails. Very reasonable price too!
