What Guests Are Saying
White Oak Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among campers. Many enjoy the spacious, well-maintained sites, particularly those by the water, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere despite some noise from motorized boats. While there are occasional concerns about restroom cleanliness and the need for better maintenance, most visitors express a desire to return.

Beautiful camp ground. Clean bathrooms with AC. Running water and electricity at every site. Pet friendly. Fish cleaning station. Huge boat launch area. Most sites have shade from the trees. Beware- most Camp sites are subject to flooding when it rains.

We love having our annual family get-together at White Oak! The only issue we had was one of the bathhouses was out of order on our loop and the other was very hot.

We absolutely love White Oak Campground! We try our best to visit at least once a year with our extended family. Always a great time!

Site improvements are wonderful! We loved the sand at water edge! Host was very nice! The only complaint would be that site 78 could accommodate an extra parking space if the site sign were moved a little. It’s a beautiful site just wish it had a small parking space. We love White Oak! We have stayed at this campground since our kids were young! Life and parents have kept us away the past 15 years. So glad to be back! We have two more reservations this year!❤️

We stopped for an overnight stay and were not disappointed. Although some of the lower numbered sites in this loop involved a downhill slope, our site 39 had easy access, was level, and the utilities worked as expected. The roads are maintained, trees are trimmed enough for safe access and there is ample guest parking. Each loop has a bathhouse with laundry, but the machines in our loop were out of order during our stay. Although we didn’t try them, the sign for the 2 (rickety🫤) machines in the next loop said they operated for free. Overall this was a pleasant stay and we plan to stop again when in the area.

Simply put, we had GREAT waterfront sites, a nice pad to park on, shade, and even no one around us until the day before we left. It was quiet! The bathhouse was clean and efficient, and the dumpsite was as well (that's where the dumpsters are). My only complaint (absolutely not the campground's fault) was the horrendously obnoxious gnats and flies that were overwhelming. The hosts were wonderful and chatty. I wish they would have had campground decals since we collect those to display on the camper (I think they're on the internet somewhere). Anyway, a great COE campground that we will definitely visit again!

The only complaint I have is that the gnats were terrible. I would suggest anyone going this time of year should buy nets for your head. It will make your stay more enjoyable.
