What Guests Are Saying
White Oak Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among campers. Many enjoy the spacious, well-maintained sites, particularly those by the water, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere despite some noise from motorized boats. While there are occasional concerns about restroom cleanliness and the need for better maintenance, most visitors express a desire to return.

Our family loves to continue to make memories over the years as we did when we were kids. This is our family tradition campground and really enjoy the growth and all of the campers we have met throughout this season and our stays.
The reason for an3 star rating is because of the height of the grass. Last stay we had to have our son bring a push mower with him. We cut our camp site and allowed the folks beside us use it. The folks on the other side had ran home and picked up their weed eater.
Also, the amount of poison Ivy on the trails, between campsites and by the bath house got myself in trouble this year.
The Staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating. Willing to help all they can.
Hopefully, after the closing and reopening there will be more improvement and updates.

Terrible flies. Could not go outside midday. Big rain. Took site 58 over an hour to drain. Others drained fine. 30 amp fuse blew several times just running ac. Vath house clean. Shower head hit about mid torso. Won’t be back

We love White Oak and come multiple times through the year. But in the last few the cleanliness of the campsites on arrival and bathroom cleanliness upkeep has significantly declined.

Great experience. Sandy areas to swim and good for tying boat near site. Good picnic space for relaxing at site. Only issue was with ants. Bring spray to keep ants out of your rv.
