Site was great. We had no rain so can't say if the site holds water. The water was very low so make sure you have extra rope to tie your watercraft off. Only thing wrong with this trip is that it is the last one until next spring due to the campground closing down again due to repairs that were not made.

Grass was about 12 inches high not maintained . There is an infestation of Ants, roaches, spiders and mosquitoes.
Mosquitoes covered the side of our camper daily.
Trees had hanging limbs above our camper, which is where some bugs came from.
We had to set off bombs in our camper when we got home for pests.
Bath house area had very poor lighting.
The town of Eufaula is quite nice with its rich confederate history the shorter mansion and other historic buildings are history’s buff day dream. Cajun corner has pretty good seafood.

Grass at sites needed cut, whoever is checking to make sure it is all cut is blind. you could tell where some areas was cut correct and other areas weren't cut at all. Sites aren't kept up as good as in the past, fire rings, grills, weeds growing in gravel at sites. Several water leaks needing repair. They were working on some of them. I think you should entertain the idea of camp hosts or volunteers in each section to take care of some of these issues. Trails are not being kept up either. Bathroom was clean and climate controlled, A/C working good

Patrick and his wife are very polite and always there if you need anything. We have never had a bad experience with them. We will definitely be going back!
