Great park as always. Love the sites up on the point... just be ready to adjust for grade changes that will bottom you out your rig pulling in and out.

The site itself is beautiful and bathhouse was clean. In my opinion there needs to be a code box on the gate rather than being locked at 10:00. Also, I would love to have my golf cart to get around since there is no trash pickup and the trash bins are at the dump station.

The site was very easy to back into. Great spot on the water to sit on my back deck and enjoy coffee and the sights of people enjoying the lake. Cell phone reception was good and tv antenna reception was good as well. We had a nice time exploring the lake by boat. The campground rangers are serious about the rules which keep the campground safe and clean for all to enjoy. Lots of kids running and playing in the water and out. The shower house was very nice and clean. I loved the checkout time. Later than I have ever seen, allows you time to pack up without a panic. This is the first ACOE park I have stayed at, great experience.

The white older man that checked me in was extremely rude. To the point that I didn’t even want to stay. He stated I could wait since I reserved the spots the night before when I had reserved them the prior weekend. 6 days prior to arrival. He always have the worst attitude and truthfully I have absolutely nothing to complain about other than that man up front. It’s awful every single visit and we’ve made 3 visits this year so far.

Great campground and relaxing location on the lake. We try to stay each time as we travel from Illinois to Florida and return. Miss the walk up camping but haven't had a problem with performing the on-line reservation when we know we are traveling near this area. Small restroom and shower facilities but when we're staying mid-week, never a problem. Glad they are air conditioned with all the humidity. Thanks for the camp host for their attention to details, saw them picking up a campers trash after they had departed. Please support the camp hosts and the Corps to keep this park (and all others) in great condition!
