What Guests Are Saying
Isaac Creek is a well-maintained and beautiful campground located along the Alabama River, offering a clean, quiet, and relaxing environment. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts, good site spacing, and excellent amenities, making it ideal for fishing and enjoying nature. However, some travelers noted a lack of sewer hookups and occasional issues with electrical connections, but these did not overshadow the overall positive experiences.

Fantastic area to stay. Boat ramps on both sides of the damn. Camp host was helpful and friendly. Restrooms where clean and tidy. Stayed in spot 13 and had a dock behind the spot. Could of easily kept your boat in the water and had it ready for fishing. Town is about 20 min away. So close enough to make a run if you need something.

We love Isaac Creek. The only thing I can say is the fire pit looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.

Loved that they had laundry and the host was super nice. Maybe it was the time of year we went and the weather but not super excited about the park. Love to walk so when the restroom were closed in the day use area it made our walks more limited. Also, since the museum was closed (for some time) we wish they would have some signage to tell you the history of the dam and park. Would we come again - possibly.

This campground is a hidden gem for any old school campers. Woods, nature, peace and quiet. Lots of site options; water or woods, grave or paved pads, shade or sun.
Not recommend for glamping big rigs or loud people or short attention span children.
Perfect for bird watching and star gazing.

Camp host is always great! We love the peacefulness and quiet of Isaac Creek.
Isaac Creek is always our first thought for a weekend getaway!
If sewer could be added to the sites, it would make it more than perfect!
