What Guests Are Saying
Isaac Creek is a well-maintained and beautiful campground located along the Alabama River, offering a clean, quiet, and relaxing environment. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts, good site spacing, and excellent amenities, making it ideal for fishing and enjoying nature. However, some travelers noted a lack of sewer hookups and occasional issues with electrical connections, but these did not overshadow the overall positive experiences.

Lots of trails, huge spaces, and beautiful views. The only downside is the bad cell reception and long distance into town. Make sure to bring everything you need.

I camped at Isaac Creek in a travel trailer in late February, 2023 at campsite 38. Campsites were mostly large and private. Many had concrete pads. The weather was warm. The park was clean and well maintained. I had one bar cell phone signal strength with AT&T and was able to do email, texting and even youTube. The campground is in the middle of nowhere, so don’t expect a lot of activities. We mostly hiked within the park. The closest town is Monroeville at 16 miles away and they didn’t offer a lot of food or entertainment options. Staff and campers were friendly and helpful. A very nice place to get away.

Campground has a good variety of sites and big rig friendly. There are a lot of trails for biking/hiking and you can even go hunting. The only downside is slow cell/data and there are no stores for 20+mi, make sure you bring enough food and supplies.

Park is nicely kept up. Unfortunately we got a flat that was probably the fault of the dump station. There are some very sharp jagged stones, concrete there. Flat occurred shortly after we left. Just be aware.

We liked Isaac Creek campground quite a lot. Our site #31 was all the way on the far end with a great view of the river and a fair amount of privacy. Bathrooms need some renovation, showing their age, but everything was operational. The campground was was very quiet during the week and only slightly busier on the weekend as expected. I will certainly return!
