We stayed in #38, beautifully located on the river and across the road from the bath house. There were not many other guests there, maybe 15? We had cell phone reception, in spite of the warnings of little to no wifi. My only negative was the fire pit….we had one with a huge wet (it sprinkled and rained and was cloudy intermittently for 30 hours) log and a couple small wet ones. When I inquired if there was any dry wood so we could have a fire, there was none. I keep my firewood protected from rain with a tarp at home, so I was surprised there was none there. And since they request not to bring firewood…we were just stuck.
Camping without even a quick campfire just seemed all wrong.

This is a remote, quiet and very relaxing site. It has become a regular stop for us as we travel. The sites are concrete and include a grill and table. Most memorable was the Eagle flying overhead with a fish in his talons.
