We always enjoy camping at Amity. This time, we were a little disappointed in how high the grass was. There was recent rainfall, so it is understandable. We will be back again next year.

For this trip, we stayed at spot 95. The spot was ok, however, due to the age of the spot and the steep slope, it was a little tricky to get our trailer situated in. It does appear that a new sand/gravel exit pad was constructed fairly recently that made it a much better transition from the asphalt pad to the gravel patio pad. It also appears that new water nozzles have been installed throughout the park which were very nice. The water pressure is awesome! This site is not recommended however, if you have a satellite TV system. No useable hole through the tree canopy was able to be found (Dish TV). Other than that, site was large, clean and fit our needs for this trip very well. Staff was wonderful as always and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Amity. The campsites are well maintained and there is plenty of room between them. Since we visited during the week, it was very quiet. Although the bathrooms are older, they were very clean. The campground is about 8 miles north of West Point, Georgia/Lanett, Alabama. Both towns have grocery stores and restaurants.
There are a lot of osprey at the lake, plus eagles. There was an osprey nest 3 campsites over from us. It was fun watching them fish and fly back to the nest.
My only complaint was the ants. Even though we sprayed all around when we set up, they invaded our camper. I don't think there is much the campground could do about the ants.
This was our third stay at Amity and we plan to return.

From West Point Georgia, travel north on Stateline Road/County Road 212 for approximately 7 miles, and watch for a sign for the campground on the right side of the road. County Road 393 on the right leads directly into the campground entrance.
The campground is accessible via County Road 212, which connects to U.S. Route 431 approximately 12 miles to the west.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
