What Guests Are Saying
Amity Park is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and spacious sites, particularly those by the water, which offer beautiful views and easy access for activities like kayaking. The hosts, including Mr. and Mrs. Dingler and Mr. and Mrs. Greene, are noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While there are some minor concerns, such as a few dated restrooms and low water levels, overall experiences are positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Excellent campsite on the lake - just feet away from the shore. I was disappointed at the lack of a water spout near the site. The closest available spout I could find, not part of another campsite, was about a third of a mile away at the nearest shower facility. Make sure you bring your water can!

Quiet, peaceful campground. Love the space between campsites. You are not crowded on top of other campers. Fishing was great.

Whenever I'm greeted at check-in with Mickey Livingston's smiling face, I know we're in for a good time.
We enjoyed our camping and fishing and only had to mild, rainy day out of five. Our site was clean and well amended with water, electricity, campfire ring and concrete picnic table.
While the site itself was clear, nearby poison ivy posed a threat. But we didn't have any problem there.
Since Amity has a large parking area at the boat ramp, that could be used for parking beyond the four vehicles allowed -- expecially boat trailers. I'd even be willing to pay a modest fee for that option. We're a group of tent campers, most of whom travel from South Florida and the Georgia coast, so we have more vehicles than the regular RV or Motor home campers.
But the distance that our family members and friends travel to camp at Amity speaks volumes about what we think of a place where we've camped of and on since 1991.

Great site! would be awesome if it had a grill, but great green space and water access.
