This park is beautiful. It is off the beaten path; but peaceful, quiet and natural. We enjoyed the the creek and watching the lightening bugs after dark. The gate attendant was pleasant and knowledgeable.

We always love going to Prairie Creek. We get a lot that has a pier so we can dock our boat while there. The bathrooms are kept clean. The people that oversee the park are very nice people. Good trails for bike riding.

Excellent trip! Park was full due to holiday weekend. Only issue was docking boat.

Nice campground, I would definitely camp here again if I'm in the area! I just wish there were more trash cans dotted around. The campsite was higher off the water than expected, which made fishing from the site awkward and led to the loss of several lures (they got caught), so beware if you're looking to fish.

Loved our visit! We had a family reunion and a kids birthday party down on loop of eagles roost where we always try to get. Some of our guest was just for the day and never had camped didn’t understand the rules park attendance was understand and kind. Park ranger came around and asked about the number of folks and gave the “8” yo and birthday gift from the park awesome. We also shared several plates of low country boil with them. We had 16 sites in the loop. We had church Sunday morning. God blessed us. And we thank the Core for keeping campgrounds so clean and accessible.
