Nice setting on the confluence of the Alabama River & Prairie Creek. Only $13 night for water & electric hookups with our NPS Senior Pass. Level site in Eagles Nest section, Very quiet midweek. Bathhouse clean & serviceable but bit shabby with rusty handdriers etc.

This is one of the prettiest campgrounds we've ever stayed in. The staff are very friendly and keep everything clean.

Sites were nice but we were overrun with ants. I sprayed the site when we setup and still had ants in the camper. Forgot to spray around the truck and it was full of ants when we got ready to leave.

It's a decent spot to stay. Only negative about the park is the amount of ants that are everywhere! They raided my wife's car and ended up bringing them home with us. Just make sure to keep an eye on those bastards. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for that and if they had sewage.

Cute little park. Layout was nice. Staff was nice. What wasn’t nice was all the ants. Spent a week in the park, but two weeks post park trying to get rid of all the ants. Would have given it an excellent rating had it not been for all the ants.
