Other than the location being inconvenient to I-65 travel, the campground is very nice. Our pull through site #36, was pretty level. The utilities worked well.

We always love going to Prairie Creek. The people that overlook the park now are great. Great place to walk or ride a bike. Just an overall great place to go.

The staff/volunteers are wonderful and the sites here are nice and large.
We went to Selma to walk the Pettis bridge. Otherwise, we just enjoyed being there.

Our stay in Prairie Creek COE site 37 was very enjoyable. We hiked around the campground and the old primitive campsites (no longer used), and I did a little fishing from the bank. The showers could use an update for more privacy, but they were clean and functional. The hot water in the bath house felt great. I would recommend some vegetation removal along the bank of some sites. The low hanging limbs and undergrowth prevents (or hampers) effective casting while trying to fish.
Overall, Prairie Creek COE Campground is a keeper. We will be back.

We camp here all the time. More often than most. So that tells you how much we LOVE it. I would have gave 5 stars but only did 4 bc it really sucked when we were told our kids could not ride their ride on toys for my 3 yr old while walking with us. I get the reason behind it but it still sucks the Littles cant have fun with the rest of the kids.
