We enjoyed being right on the water. Seeing the turtles sunning on the logs, riding our bikes, fishing. Going to the lock and dam just up the street. Friendly camp hosts and front office personnel. Clean bath houses and laundry room. We look forward to visiting here again.

This was the most beautiful individual campsite we've ever had. Right on the Alabama River, with docks available steps from the tent. Not much to do, other than fishing and boating, as the biking is limited to the roadways around the campground. Kind of isolated, which is nice. Bring a canoe or small boat, your fishing pole and have a quiet, fun experience.
