What Guests Are Saying
Bluff Creek Campground receives high praise for its friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and beautiful natural surroundings, including the frequent sighting of deer. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the convenience of boat access, although some express concerns about noise from a nearby paper mill and the need for improved maintenance, especially regarding the boat ramp and site cleanliness. Overall, guests find it a great spot for camping, with a desire for more amenities and better access to the water.

Our Mission group had an event at Bluff Creek and it was wonderful. We were able to camp near to each other and use to pavilion to host a hotdog supper for the campground.

Lovely campground. Shady site but surprisingly no mosquitos. Deer grazing nearby. Gate attendant was helpful. Site almost level, no puddles after a bit of rain. Gravel site. Some train/mill noise but not too bad.

As always we appreciate staying at COE campgrounds across the country. Everything worked well here and we had a very nice stay. Our only comment was that we wish that we had cell phone coverage during the stay which, of course, has nothing to do with the COE. We would return in the future and recommend it to others.

The host, facilities and sites are nice and the campground is not far from town but the paper mill stripping bark till the wee hours of the morning is a bit rough.

This is a great park right on the river. Quiet atmosphere (our stay was during the weekdays), all paved sites. Good water and electric hookups - we used 50 amp hookup with no issues. Was easy to back into with our 37' fifth wheel. Only 2 miles from the Kountry Kitchen restaurant, other restaurants 8-10 miles north toward Phenix City/Columbus. FYI - when noting check in/check out times, it operates on the eastern time zone even though it's in Alabama.
