What Guests Are Saying
Bluff Creek Campground receives high praise for its friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and beautiful natural surroundings, including the frequent sighting of deer. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the convenience of boat access, although some express concerns about noise from a nearby paper mill and the need for improved maintenance, especially regarding the boat ramp and site cleanliness. Overall, guests find it a great spot for camping, with a desire for more amenities and better access to the water.

We always have a great time at Bluff Creek Campground at Pittsview, AL. We always catch lots of fish and enjoy fishing on the river.

Great site…#43. Great camp hosts! Campground is well tended to and bathhouses were spacious and clean.
Lots of deer was a plus.

The spot was level and shady with easy view to the water. T-Mobile was not good but the scenery with the wildlife more than compensated, especially the deer.

The boat ramp needs to be open redone it take 20 miles just to have a boat there once you go put in comeback to camp then got to go load up then come back to camp to get camper on top of gas for the boat is a real hassel

We love camping at Bluff Creek but we sure would love to see the water around boat ramp cleaned up so we could get our boat in and out and not have to go down river to launch our boat. And if the banks alomg the water round the campground were cleared we could park our boat and not have to worry about snakes and gator hiding in the HIGH grass.

Quite place to go for some down time , great staff/volunteers. Would be excellent if they would stay open during fall and winter , who wants to have a fire and s’mores with your little ones in the summer and would be so nice if the park had sewer

We had no idea a paper mill was across the water which was noise 24/7 and an awful stench that was nauseating. My husband has COPD and we carry a golf cart for him to get around in. The ranger allowed him to use the golf cart however they only allow it parked on asphalt. There was plenty of room on the gravel so it didn't make any sense to us. One of the camp hosts was very nice, the other one has all sorts of skeletons on display at their host spot. What a greeting! The bath houses and laundry are nice except the sign says once they break they won't be replaced. As far as you are from town that's bad for those of us who are full time RV'ers. We will not return.
