all I can say is fix boat ramp please

I swear this place is the honey hole. If you’re looking for a place to escape and feel like you’re a part of nature, this is it. The stars were beautiful at night away from the city, it’s right on the river, and there’s places to pull your boat/canoe/kayak right up to some of the spots. The workers were so very kind and we seen them often riding around making sure everyone was good. One of them even helped me figure out a way to pump up my air mattress, because I completely forgot to bring a pump. They also made sure we found the perfect spot for our requests and it exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be going back soon!

Friendly staff and clean restrooms and showers.

The park it beautiful. The facilities need a little TLC. There were 2 women’s showers but only one had a shower head. Also, the main gate is locked from10pm-7am, not sure why it needed to be locked.

When we arrived all the campsites were covered with pine needles, fallen branches and leaves. We had to drive 20 mi to buy a rake which we shared with 4 other campers. The sites were covered so badly, the pads and parking spaces were Impossible to find. Terrible experience to clean our site. The cleaning crew from Anderson were sitting in their truck and when we asked if they were going to blow the campsites their response was “no we get off in an hour so we will just sit here until the hour is up”. A fellow camper asked them if he could borrow a rake and he said yes. Whoever is paying workers to sit in their truck perhaps it’s time to have a supervisor on site or find another company that will work..
The one bright spot are the volunteers who cover the office.

1st day of us there was the 1st day of campground opened season, the bathroom was locked. Other things were good, oh I saw group of deer, it seemed that they are campground owner.

We had a great stay at Bluff Creek. We were there for the ASA Pro/Am Archery shoot at Fort Mitchell and the hosts at the campground went above duty to make sure we were able to get out of the campground earlier than normal to make our shoot time. The facility was well taken care of. We will be staying there next year.

We arrived on the opening day of the park. We were very surprised that there were a number of sites that were in distinguishable from the landscape if they didn’t have picnic tables and fire rings present. It was a hit or miss some sites were completely clear of debris others were covered. There were trees down in spots. We saw staff once blowing a site , ONE SITE ONLY!
The bath house was very outdated . There were two stalls in the men’s bedroom that would not flush.
We understood that they were and are in need of staff, but if you’re aware that a site is booked they should at the very least clear those sites of debris.
Over all one of the worst COE ‘s we’ve been to.

Beautiful park. A little out of the way. Campground host was very nice. We basically had the entire place to ourselves except for maybe 2 other campers. 2 negatives; The first was the noise from the next door pulp mill? Loud banging throughout the night. The second one was that we were invaded by ants! I guess they were starving. They mounted a full assault on our camper invading every morsel of food. I hate ants!
Enjoyed the free laundry!
