What Guests Are Saying
Bluff Creek Campground receives high praise for its friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and beautiful natural surroundings, including the frequent sighting of deer. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the convenience of boat access, although some express concerns about noise from a nearby paper mill and the need for improved maintenance, especially regarding the boat ramp and site cleanliness. Overall, guests find it a great spot for camping, with a desire for more amenities and better access to the water.

First I want anyone reading to know the host, campsite and campground are excellent. However, while we were there on 3/10 - 3/12/2024 the Paper Mill noise was incredibly loud! Honestly, I believe noise level outside would have required hearing protection by OSHA standards. (no joke - I worked in a rail yard for almost 40 years) Sure, my wife and I could have ridden it out for a few more days, but the fishing was no good and our dog would have been on Xanax before weeks end!! Good Luck!!

Nice campground, good spot, spacious, but the noise from the nearby paper plant was awful, even in the middle of the night. We lost our senior pass discount because we didn’t have the actual card, only a copy of it, and that was not acceptable. We’ve stayed at other national parks and campgrounds that accepted the photo of our card (which we had) but this one did not. So we had to cut our stay short.

Sites were level, scenic & lovely campground. Very noisy at night with the trains passing so close & some kind of construction or warehouse noise.

Site #62 was perfect for us since we have big dogs. The lot is large and faces the intersection of the creek and the lake. Unobstructed view of the water. Nice view of the sunrise!

Terrible experience. We tried to check in at the office. After waiting 25 minutes outside in 35 degree weather the attendant gave up. We told the attendant (approx 75 Year old man), we will use the website to reserve the site. He agreed to this. Later in the day, this same attendant came storming into our campsite like a physco saying we are not checked in. We showed him our reservation and he glared and left. If a park manager reads this, please relieve this individual of their duties.

Loved the park, spaces were nice size. Only problem was the noise at night from a nearby plant but we got use to it
