Well maintained park. Great attendants.

We have been using recreation.gov since 2016 and have enjoyed ou planning and taking our trips. We started out at Chalatchee Creek Park and enjoyed it here we continued booking there until 2021due to 100 miles to 35 miles away from home where we found Service Park ,Silas ,Alabama,to continue the same kind of facility and great hosts. We will go at least once a year back to Alavert’s, Alabama, where Chalatchee Creek Campground is located but miles make difference when on limited income. Thanks for making our trips easy to complete and enjoy.

Very clean and well maintained campground. The pull through sites along the river are fabulous.

The campground was immaculate. Lots of bugs in early may. I had 72 mbps upload and 16 mbps download on Verizon with a cell booster on my rig.

This past camping trip was one of the most memorable trips that we have had in a long time. The weather was great, caught enough catfish to have a huge fish fry and made some wonderful friends. This service park is a piece of paradise. The hosts are wonderful and friendly. The park and the facilities are very clean. The only request that I would like to make is to please open the laundry facilities back up. We stayed a week and really needed to wash clothes. I can’t wait to go back on Memorial Weekend.

This is a very small CoE site on the Tombigbee waterway. Beautiful spaces, easy access, staff was very helpful & friendly. Bugs will be bad during summer months as there is low lying land around park

This was a very nice park. Hosts were extremely friendly and offered help if needed. Restrooms were very clean. Nice views of the river; sites spread out well. I was in site 11, on the river.

Such a clean, well-kept park with friendly, helpful Hosts. We loved watching the barges on the river. We hope we can visit again soon.
