I think this may be my favorite COE Campground on the Tenn-Tom Waterway although they are all good. Very good site locations along the banks of the waterway. Courteous staff, well maintained grounds and a quiet atmosphere.

We was at Service park at Service Park the 3rd week in March! It was very quite, the river was rising and most campers left! We enjoyed the quite and peace. Early morning we heard turkeys. We did not leave because we was close to home and could drive thru the water over the road (not swift) We enjoyed the host, they was very nice and offered to help with what ever we needed. Everything was very clean. Come prepared with food because the Dollar store and Gas station is 3 miles from the Park. Would like to say Thanks to the Park Host!

The ONLY reason for the 4 star rating is that site 23 is a shared driveway site so you are somewhat closer to your neighbor who shares the driveway than in almost all the other sites. My neighbors were very nice people but in a perfect world I'd rather be a little farther away from anyone staying in that adjacent site.
The campsite overall is great and we'll definitely be back--just not to #23.

Service campground has become one of our favorite camping spots. The park hosts are super (all). They are always out and about to make sure campers have what they need. Camp bathrooms are always clean and serviced.
Camp sites are large and very clean ready for the camper arrival. Most sites are level but a few do have a slope away from the river that may require a little blocking to make your rig level.
Early morning walks increase your ability to see a few dear and after sundown you may hear a coyote or two.
My wife capture a bald eagle with her camera on this pates trip and it was beautiful.
Again, very clean and well run park. Enjoyable and relaxing for those who just want to relax and watch tugs go by.

Site 12 is a pull through right on the water. The campgrounds are very well-kept and the hosts are helpful and hard-working. There are several well-marked trails which we walked on back to back days, each day taking 2.5 to 3 hours. The blue trail is somewhat challenging but not impossible. Other than the campgrounds there's not much local attraction imo. Coffeeville is dry but has a Dollar General and an ExxonMobil station a few miles from the park. The other direction towards Silas
there's a package store and a store selling mostly bland American beer plus Heineken, Modelo, and Dos Equi. We brought bikes but there's not a lot of biking to do without leaving the park. We would definitely stay again.

The hosts here always work with you. We give them about a 30 minute heads up on our arrival and they let us know to either stop at the entrance kiosk or they will met us at the site.
