Beautiful campground with sites that are spread out, A lot of them have decks overlooking the river and the dam.

Staff was great. Facilities as well. The only negative for us what that they locked the gate at 10pm and there is no code. We weren't able to go to the 7:30 tip Alabama basketball game that we had planned for.

Beautiful campground. Everything well maintained and restrooms were clean and showers were good. Site 22 pull thru was great. Hope to return for extended stay.

Very nice staff/volunteers. Clean bathroom facilities. Site 38 very nice. Just would have liked a little more room around the campfire pit. For us it was fine (just two of us) but it would be hard for a family to gather around the fire. Great view from campsite.

I’ve been coming to Deerlick since before I could remember. It’s still the same wonderful camp it’s always been. You’re definitely in the woods at here, but still not too far from town if needed to go. Site 11 was a great spot. Very convenient location in reference to the bathrooms. The other people on our trip was at Site 12. If you’re doubling up, 11 & 12 are the best options, along with 38 & 40.

Beautiful campground. A couple trails to walk, beach/swimming are, and nice bathrooms. Our site had a great view of the river but the driveway is steep (as evidenced by several scrape marks) and short. Would not recommend for long trailers. Ours is 21’ with off-road clearance so it fit perfectly.
