This was a midpoint overnight stop going and coming back on a recent trip from New Orleans to Nashville. Park and views from Sites are beautiful! On the return trip we were supposed to stay overnight but my gal had an emergency and needed to be at work Monday AM meaning we had to leave at 4 AM. Gates are usually locked from 7 AM to 10 PM so I called and explained my need they said they the gates would be open at 4 for me and they were! Camp host was super friendly even though I had an LSU Football 2019 National Championship Plate on my RV and it's smack in the middle of Crimson Tide Country lol, park and sites are very well maintained!

Beautiful campground with nice, well spaced and level sites!. Our only regret was that our stay was too short.
We plan to visit again in the near future!

we were only there 2 nights but loved it and want to go back! Gorgeous setting - we were in River Bluff section and it was beautiful - nice paved pad and huge wooden deck with gravel area for grilling, etc. Overlooked the river/lake. Lots of hills, winding roads, beautiful trees. Bathhouses were a little dated but very clean. The park is clean and well maintained - super nice park! Not far from Tuscaloosa which has lots to do.

This campground is a great football season getaway! Only 30 minutes from the University of Alabama. The entire property is well kept and clean. Beautiful scenery all around. We had a great time and will definitely be back
