Just a beautiful place! The sites are large, the views gorgeous. The camp volunteers were also wonderful. Bathrooms were clean. Quiet. Truly enjoyed our stay.

This CoE campground is off of I-20 by about 18 miles so you will not hear any road noise in the campground. As you get off of I-20, you will pass by just about any store you may need. If you do forget something while you are here, then you will only have to drive back out 6-ish miles to find stores like Publix, CVS and others.

There are 46 sites, 40 RV sites and 6 tent sites all with power and water and all of those are 50/30/20 amp. All the RV sites have concrete pads that are just about perfectly level with a few exceptions only being slightly unlevel. The services worked well while we were here, the campground is clean and managed by 4 camp hosts that were all super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Bathrooms were a little old but kept very clean and the water was Hollywood hot for those long needed showers that help you relax after a day of hiking the trails that you’ll find throughout the campground.

Just outside of the campground there is a beach and day use area with a boat launch where you can drop your canoe, kayak, or big boat to enjoy the activities on the water. Alternatively, you can just kick back on the beach to get some sun, swim in the sectioned off swim area, or picnic at the sheltered and open picnic tables you’ll find all around the park.

Our T-Mobile internet worked awesome here getting an average of 150+ mbs down and 30-40mbs up. Our ATT barely worked getting 1 bar and about 3mbs down, .5mbs up and Verizon was about the same. There were to many trees, a good thing for me but don’t even try getting your Starlink out for an attempt at connection.

Best of the best sites, sites 35 & 40 in my opinion are at the very bottom of the last loop, sitting right on the lake with decks that hang over the hillside providing wonderful views. The way they are positioned, they give lots of privacy and a relaxing almost neighbor free experience that will make you want to come back again and again.

The facilities were so nice and the campgrounds were just far enough apart! There was a great amount of firewood around to build with, and the weather was perfect. Campground managers so friendly ! WILL be coming back again : )

Very well maintained park. Good staff.
Site 8 is deceivingly hard to back into and pull out of.

Looking forward to next trip.
