Nice spacious, flat site with two wooden decks overlooking the lake. We really enjoyed the paved bike trails. Could have better lake access for boating and it only has one dump station. The turn around on the River Bluff Loop is almost non-existent. You will most likely have to back all the way up the road to turn around in a big camper. AT&T cell reception is good. Very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Sites are easy to get into and level. At night there are no street lights which makes any site you’re on more private. The area set up for a campfire is wonderful and level. The only unflattering thing I can say is the bathhouse showers are not for taller people. If you’ve never been, it’s worth checking out.

So clean and such friendly workers. A little bit difficult to get to due to route and traffic concerns, but not insurmountable. Probably not the place for an overnighter, but definitely great for 3+ nights. Large sites with fire pits and tables. Very forested. We stayed 4 nights in a 36' motorhome. Had a pull thru site. Nearest grocery and gas about 25 minutes away.

Very clean and peaceful, with plenty to do. We tent camped in #18. It was a nice spot for a tent at the end of the road before the turn-around loop. The deck was nice but you could barely see the water through trees, but they also give some privacy from the boaters below. No big deal for us, but just FYI if you are hoping to enjoy a view of the water.
Plenty of room for a large tent, privacy tent, and suv. We parked our truck in the extra spots on the loop but could have made it fit if we had to. The kids were able to ride their bikes around the loop safely. There is one trail at the back of this loop that wraps around the perimeter of the campground and to 3 fishing piers. It was a fun hike, but definitely narrow with steep drop offs & inclines—be careful with little ones on it.
We enjoyed the swimming hole. Steep walk to and from. There was never more than 1 other family there so it was fine, but it isn’t very big. I could see it being crowded in the summers. The bathhouse was very clean with hot water. No play ground but there was a ball court and cornhole boards. Next time, we’ll book in the tent-only spots or closer to the front of the campground. It was a long walk from #18. We didn’t get to go on the paved trails but are hoping to next time. They looked nice from the road. We will definitely come back!

We loved our time at Deerlick Creek, the sites were well kept and spacious, volunteers provided free firewood, and the trails were gorgeous. 10 out of 10, would visit again.

Great campground! Nice level pads with clean sitting/dining areas next to pads. Very clean bathhouses (could use a larger water heater). It’s the only campground I’ve ever been to where the campground hosts split and store firewood for the campers to use. All of the staff and volunteers that we dealt with were over-the-top helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to our next trip there!

We absolutely loved Deerlick Campground! We stayed in site 35, was probably the best site we have ever had. Extremely friendly staff, even met a park ranger, was super friendly. We highly recommend this place!
