This is a clean, peaceful, and fun location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The water activities are great! I do not think there is a bad site at this campground. We were at site 40 and the narrow road was not a problem for us. The secluded location was refreshing! Great trails that were very scenic. We were there for a University of Alabama graduation (Roll Tide!) and we explored the beautiful campus. We went into Birmingham and enjoyed the culture and the great history of the Civil Rights. We stopped at Aww SHUCKS Avondale for a delicious vegan meal!

This park is close enough to Tuscaloosa for many activities. Many food choices and shopping. Some sites have water views through the trees. Each site has water and electric with a dumpstation on your way to exit park. We have stayed at this park many times. We were a little disappointed that the cleanliness was not up to normal standards. We didn’t use the bath house, but it looked clean.

We always enjoy our stays at Deerlick Creek Campground. It is nice and peaceful and the people are so helpful.

The campsites are great, they are all concrete pads with grills, fire pits, large decks, and picnic tables. Most have good water views and lots of shade trees (much better than sitting side by side in a parking lot).
