We stayed at Deerlick for parent’s weekend at the University of Alabama. It will not be our last visit to the camp. It is a beautiful location. We walked most of the campground, and admired the views of the lake from many of the sites. We biked some of the park as well, but the elevation changes prove to be a very difficult ride. The workers at the front were so friendly and we saw them checking on things quite often. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The upper sites are easily accessible, semi private, and cared for. The bath house is clean. Love the bike paths. However, this park needs sewer at the sites. Also the lower sites are inaccessible for most rv’s. Finally, it’s difficult to access the fishing piers due to overgrown and washed out trails.
