This Campground is on our top 10 Army Corps of Engineer campgrounds that we have visited. Beautifully maintained sites, clean restrooms, awesome topography with great views, hiking trails and the icing on the cake are the wonderful campground volunteers.

Clean & beautiful park. Living nearby, Deerlick provides us a close escape from reality. There are many sites with great waterfront views. We stayed a week recently for a working “stay-cation”. Visits from family & friends made it a great week. We had great coverage for streaming. We were always welcomed back to the park by Deerlick’s herd of whitetail deer.
One caution I’d offer is some slots (36-46) can be difficult for larger units. I’d avoid those slots with full sized trailers, fifth wheels or Class A units but that’s just my opinion. The issue is a very limited turn around area on the road for those slots. Those slots do offer a great view, but your egress in those particular slots might involve backing back up to hairpin to make your exit with large units. Some folks are up to it...others aren’t. Choose wisely.

This place is the best COE Campground we have ever stayed in. Flat level concrete pad sites that are very spacious. Great hosts, they were very friendly.

This was our first stay here (and our 2nd trip as new campers). The site we had was Great! Loved that it was in the water. Very clean and sites are so nice. Concrete pads, fire pit, grill , picnic table and deck. Without a doubt will stay here again. It is a must go to for anyone. Park personnel was so nice and helpful about other parks as well.
